data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/maura-higgins\/\">Maura Higgins<\/a> has revealed the truth behind an apparent \u2018feud\u2019 between two of her co-stars, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/16\/im-a-celebrity-star-shows-off-dramatic-weight-loss-shirtless-selfie-22195060\/\">Melvin Odoom<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/dean-mccullough\/\">Dean McCullough<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The TV legend first hit our screens on <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/love-island\/\">Love Island<\/a> in 2019, alongside the likes of <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/tommy-fury\/\">Tommy Fury<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/11\/22\/molly-mae-hague-promises-docuseries-will-expose-unglamorous-life-first-look-22046068\/\">Molly-Mae Hague<\/a>, where she firmly placed herself in the reality TV hall of fame with <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2019\/06\/24\/love-islands-tom-walker-denies-making-disrespectful-mouth-comment-maura-higgins-10046021\/\">one of the best takedowns in the show\u2019s history<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s since gone on to make numerous TV appearances, from <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/dancing-on-ice\/\">Dancing on Ice<\/a> to The Wheel, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/loose-women\/\">Loose Women<\/a>, and Cooking with the Stars.<\/p>\n<p>Maura\u2019s now just returned home from the jungle, after arriving as a latecomer in camp and joining <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/coleen-rooney\/\">Coleen Rooney<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/danny-jones\/\">Danny Jones<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/oti-mabuse\/\">Oti Mabuse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being a favourite to win, she became the sixth celebrity to be eliminated, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/05\/im-a-celebrity-shocks-double-elimination-cyclone-ticket-winner-revealed-22132688\/\">leaving fans devastated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And it could be down to a huge TV show, Series 24, Australia - 27 Nov 2024\" loading=\"lazy\" data-src=\"http:\/\/demoslotrupiah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/SEI_231124338-93e2.jpg\">\t<\/div><figcaption>Maura addressed the tension between Dean and Melvin in the camp (Picture: ITV\/Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But it\u2019s certainly that nice side of her that came out on I\u2019m A Celebrity in what turned out to be <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/09\/im-a-celebrity-2024-proof-best-tv-doesnt-need-drama-22151616\/\">one of the most wholesome seasons<\/a> of the reality competition.<\/p>\n<p>With very little drama taking place, aside from some <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/13\/im-a-celebrity-viewers-embarrassed-dean-mccullough-reignites-feud-22187487\/\">bickering about chores<\/a>, the celebrities appeared to \u2018compliment each other so harmoniously\u2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/11\/27\/im-not-convinced-this-years-im-a-celebrity-good-tv-22068982\/\">in the words of former campmate Gillian McKeith<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And Maura has insisted there were no unaired arguments, and the camp really did get along as viewers saw.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about any tensions between radio presenters Melvin and \u2018HouDeani\u2019 Dean, she said: \u2018I didn\u2019t see any arguments and the whole thing with Melvin and Dean, genuinely the only bit that I saw, it was like tongue in cheek to me.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I never saw conflict or anything like that with anyone in camp. There was not even a moment where I felt like even rolling my eyes at anyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It was really nice. I felt really lucky to be a part of this year\u2019s camp.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>When asked if she was wary of certain characters she may be in the jungle with before the official line-up had been announced, she told us: \u2018No because I\u2019d hate to judge someone before meeting them, you know? So I definitely didn\u2019t do that.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I was just very open minded. I felt really lucky to be a part of this year\u2019s camp.\u2019 (Picture: ITV\/Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Despite having no expectations about her campmates, Maura did admit it was \u2018much harder\u2019 than she thought it would be, but that she also didn\u2019t expect to enjoy it as much.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest obstacle to overcome though was the hunger \u2013 which several stars in the past have claimed shocked them.<\/p>\n<p>Maura said: \u2018I didn\u2019t expect the hunger to bother me that much, like I thought, oh yeah, I\u2019d be a bit hungry.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018But it\u2019s not just a bit hungry, like your stomach is growling 24\/7, you never feel satisfied. So yeah, that was tough.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>She went on: \u2018I didn\u2019t see anyone getting hangry. Everyone was in such good spirits all the time, and especially going to trials and stuff, because you\u2019re on such a low calorie diet, you\u2019re struggling for energy.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018And it\u2019s not what you see, it\u2019s a good long walk, and you\u2019re up and down steps.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018And some days you\u2019re literally just breathing loudly, and you\u2019re like, \u201coh my god, I can\u2019t do this. TV show, Series 24, Australia - 05 Dec 2024\" loading=\"lazy\" data-src=\"http:\/\/demoslotrupiah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/SEI_232107041-7147.jpg\">\t<\/div><figcaption>Maura was the sixth celebrity eliminated from the jungle (Picture: James Gourley\/ITV\/Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In previous years, it\u2019s been revealed the celebrities taking part have lost a shocking amount of weight during their time in the jungle, with 2022 contestant\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/chris-moyles\/\">Chris Moyles<\/a>\u00a0saying he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/11\/25\/im-a-celebrity-chris-moyles-reveals-massive-weight-loss-from-jungle-stint-17827199\/#:~:text=Speaking%20to%20Toby%20Tarrant%20on%20The%20Chris%20Moyles,weight%21%20%E2%80%98I%E2%80%99ve%20lost%20a%20stone%20and%20a%20half%21%E2%80%99\">lost a stone and a half<\/a>\u00a0while on the show, while last year\u2019s campmate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/12\/19\/im-a-celebrity-2023-star-fred-sirieix-still-recovering-weight-loss-19998923\/\">Fred Sirieix said his \u2018stomach shrunk\u2019\u00a0<\/a>after the bland diet.<\/p>\n<p>This year, both Barry McGuigan and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/16\/im-a-celebrity-star-shows-off-dramatic-weight-loss-shirtless-selfie-22195060\/\">Melvin Odoom revealed they\u2019d lost seven kilos<\/a>, while Jane Moore \u2013 who was the first eliminated contestant and left camp after 15 days \u2013 also recently said she went down from 10st 3lb to 9st 7lb and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/01\/im-a-celebrity-star-reveals-shock-weight-loss-just-two-weeks-camp-22097377\/\">her clothes were \u2018hanging off\u2019 her<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Yeah, you definitely lose weight. I mean, you\u2019re basically on rations, it\u2019s a serious diet. But also, your skin gets so clear and fresh looking, so that was quite nice to see,\u2019 Maura said.<\/p>\n<p>Now that she\u2019s left the jungle, there\u2019s reports Maura is <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/11\/im-a-celebrity-star-maura-higgins-net-worth-ahead-big-tv-gig-22165443\/\">set for a massive TV job<\/a> after \u2018catching a top producer\u2019s attention\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Teasing what\u2019s to come, she said: \u2018There\u2019s lots of stuff in the pipeline which is so exciting. I mean, I\u2019m not a dancer,\u2019 she said, and when we pointed out that she was on Dancing On Ice earlier this year, continued: \u2018Yeah, and I struggled. I hadn\u2019t skated either.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018So I\u2019ve never performed, I\u2019d never danced. But you know what? Never say never. I mean, I can\u2019t imagine I\u2019d do very well.
